The most helpful tool in my DH journey has been learning to write for a public audience. From blogs to factsheets, this skill has been essential in conveying the goals, processes, and methods of the projects I partake in and engaging with history and digital humanities in a way that goes beyond the classroom.

Checkout the ReligionsMN website and the fact sheets and blogs on the Immigrant Law Center of MN page for more information of the type of writing I engage in.

Check out this story map from the Northfield Gems project to see how this skill functions in an actual DH project.
